PTFE semifinished and finished Products for more than 40\u00a0years<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Since it was founded in 1976,<\/strong> everything at TEKU GmbH has revolved around fluoroplastics (PTFE). Thanks to the versatility of PTFE as a material, we, as consultants, designers and processors, are always finding new possibilities for use.<\/p>\n

We manufacture parts exclusively from virginal, regenerate-free PTFE, which comply with all generally recognized guidelines. We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our large stock of approx. 80 t of PTFE semi-finished products – such as films, sheets, tubes, rods and hoses – guarantees our customers optimal readiness for delivery with a possible 24-hour service.\u00a0We also deliver standard PTFE compounds such as glass and carbon-filled material from stock at short notice.<\/p>\n

PTFE \u2013 The Material<\/h2>\n

The material polytetrafluoroethylene (short term PTFE) is a fully fluorinated polymer. PTFE is a thermoplastic and is a non-polar polymer.
\nNot a by-product of space travel (as is often claimed), the material was discovered by accident in 1938 by the chemist Roy Plunkett while searching for suitable refrigerants for refrigerators.<\/p>\n

Semifinished Products<\/h2>\n

TEKU GmbH Fluoroplastics supplies semifinished and finished products made of PTFE fluoroplastics. By adding specific filling agents, the properties of PTFE can be modified to extend the scope of application and the material can be optimized for specific purposes (see PTFE compounds).<\/p>\n

Finished Products<\/h2>\n

Based on the semifinished products of our range, we are able to produce finished parts from 1 to 1,800 mm diameter according to your drawing or prototype. We also provide all other standard processing steps such as trimming, drilling etc.<\/p>\n
