PTFE powder is processed to semifinished products by applying it via a dosing mechanism to metal tools (rods, tubes, profiles) heated to sintering temperature.<\/p>\n<p>Extruded products:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"liste\">\n<li>Rods from 4 to 160 mm diameter,<br \/>\nlength up to 3000 mm<br \/>\n(Excess lengths available on special order)<\/li>\n<li>Tubes of 10 to 205 mm diameter,<br \/>\nlength up to 3000 mm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For lower diameter tolerances, extruded rods up to 60 mm diameter can also be ground.<\/p>\n<p>For further details please see the relevant documents (PDF) at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teku-gmbh.com\/en\/downloads\/\">Downloads<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. The sintering cycle is dependent on the size and dimensions of the formed parts; it involves controlled heating, controlled maintenance of temperature and controlled cooling.<\/p>\n<p>Pressed products<\/p>\n<ul class=\"liste\">\n<li>Rods from 30 to 775 mm diameter,<br \/>\nlength up to 300 mm<\/li>\n<li>Tubes from 35 to 390 mm diameter,<br \/>\nlength up to 300 mm<\/li>\n<li>Rings from 405 to 1440 mm diameter,<br \/>\nheight up to 100 mm<\/li>\n<li>Sheets, 4 to 150 mm thick,<br \/>\nmax. size 1500 x\u00a01500 mm \/ 2000 x 1000 mm<\/li>\n<li>Sheets made from films: sheets are manufactured<br \/>\nto a thickness from 1 to 6 mm,<br \/>\nmax. size 1800 x\u00a01800 mm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Films are skived in special machines from blocks manufactured\u00a0in the pressing process:<br \/>\nFilms with a thickness between 0.025 and\u00a06.0 mm, width of max. 1800 mm and length between 15 and about 1800 m.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
